274 Café
Kemang, Jakarta

274 Street Café, is inspired by a Melbourne street, reflecting the owner's personal connection to the city. The café, located in central Kemang, offers a dynamic concept: brunch by day and a cocktail bar by night, bringing a fresh vibe to South Jakarta's food and beverage scene. The owner wanted to emulate Melbourne's café culture, creating a safe space, especially for solo visitors. This influenced the choice of soft colors like gray, light yellow, and pastel blue to evoke serenity and relaxation. Visitors are welcomed by a distinctive blue door with glass panes. Inside, a full-body mirror offers a photo opportunity. Unlike typical cafés, 274 Street Café places its patisserie and light meals on two central display tables, allowing customers to browse freely. The café’s signature blue features prominently, contrasted by gray banquettes and brown chairs made of solid wood with Jepara's woven art touch. IDS emphasizes sustainability and maintenance, carefully selecting materials based on factors like age, production, and energy use. Designers faced challenges with limited storage space, especially for raw cooking materials. The open space concept made it difficult to conceal these items, leading to the innovative furniture "camouflage" strategy, maximizing space without compromising aesthetics.

ADVANCE
EDC PIK 2

Our vision was to create a space that embodies tranquility and invites relaxation, aligning seamlessly with the brand's mission. Specializing in massage chairs, air purifiers, and water filtration systems, Advance needed an environment where customers could fully experience the rejuvenating effects of their products. Upon entering, visitors are immediately enveloped in a zen-like atmosphere. The interior design features a harmonious blend of natural materials complemented by a soft, neutral color palette. Gentle lighting and strategically placed greenery enhance the sense of calm, creating a serene backdrop for the products on display. Key to the design was the massage chair area, where we created semi-private nooks for customers to experience the chairs' therapeutic benefits in a peaceful setting. Each nook is designed with comfort and privacy in mind, surrounded by soothing ambient lighting. For the air purifiers and water filtration systems, we developed interactive display stations that allow customers to engage with the products. Informative signage and clean, minimalist displays ensure the technology is both accessible and inviting. Overall, our design for the Advance store at PIK 2 goes beyond a traditional retail environment. It’s a sanctuary where customers can explore and experience the products in a setting that mirrors the relaxation and wellness benefits those products provide.

NIKEN AYUTHIA
SEDAYU CITY

As the designer for NIKEN AYUTHIA, we aimed to create an elegant and inviting space that reflects the beauty and romance of weddings. Drawing inspiration from the client's preference for a natural color palette, I curated a harmonious blend of earthy tones throughout the store. On the first floor, where regular customers explore bridal options, the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Soft beige walls and natural wood flooring provide a neutral backdrop for the stunning wedding gowns. To add sophistication and distinction, black accents are strategically incorporated, particularly evident in the bride dress hangers and regular-size changing rooms. These touches create a sense of intimacy and comfort for brides-to-be as they browse through the collection. Transitioning to the second floor, reserved for premium clients, the atmosphere elevates to a more luxurious experience. Here, gold accents take center stage, imparting a sense of opulence and exclusivity. The bride dress hangers adorned in gold exude elegance, while a grand podium with a large mirror serves as a focal point for showcasing the most exquisite gowns. The design concept seamlessly integrates the store's dual purposes, offering both accessibility and refinement. The combination of natural hues with contrasting black and gold accents not only adds visual interest but also guides customers through their journey, from the excitement of discovery on the first floor to the indulgent experience of finding the perfect gown on the second floor. Overall, NIKEN AYUTHIA embodies a timeless charm that celebrates every bride's unique journey to her special day.
